20th January – 24th January ♡

This week started with clear objectives: completing the object PDF files, remodelling a key object, and meeting my Wednesday deadline. However, things didn’t go entirely as planned, and I had to navigate unexpected challenges.
I began the week with focus and determination. The morning was productive. I successfully completed the object PDF files, ticking off a key task. In the afternoon, I turned my attention to 3D modelling. This required a lot of problem-solving, but I made some progress. I felt in control of my workload, confident that I was on track to meet my deadline.
By Tuesday morning, everything shifted. I was unwell, forcing me to step away from my work entirely. What was meant to be a day of progress became a necessary but frustrating pause. Wednesday followed the same pattern. I couldn’t push through as I normally would. It was difficult to accept that I was falling behind on my schedule, but I had no choice but to prioritise rest.
Returning on Thursday, I knew I had to refocus. The morning presentation workshop was a good way to ease back into things, engaging in discussions and refining my communication skills. In the afternoon, I tackled a new brief, reading through the material and creating my own notes. Though I still felt slightly off balance from being sick, I was regaining my rhythm.
Friday was centred around structure and strategy. The DPS tutorial in the morning was the first real discussion about the end-of-year submission. This was a gentle reminder that bigger deadlines are approaching. Later, an occupation strategy meeting provided space to think critically about structuring the new museum. This discussion helped me shift back into a problem-solving mindset, rounding off the week on a more productive note.
This week I reminded myself that flexibility is just as important as discipline. Productivity isn’t just about pushing through. It’s also about knowing when to step back. I’m ending the week with a clearer perspective, ready to fully engage again next week.
