Week 18

17th February – 21st February ♡

At the beginning of the week, my primary focus was refining my collage under Weimeng’s guidance. Incorporating feedback required a degree of patience, as it necessitated revisiting elements I had initially considered complete. However, this iterative process reinforced the value of refinement in design. By Tuesday, I had finalised the collage and was satisfied with the outcome, recognising that the act of refining work is equally as significant as its initial creation.

Midweek, I transitioned to a new brief, dedicating time to a thorough review and the creation of structured notes. Developing a clear understanding of the project scope facilitated a smooth shift into my next task: generating a new set of image props for the objects. This process was both creative and technical, involving the careful selection, manipulation, and preparation of visuals to enhance the overall design. On Thursday, I continued refining these props while also consulting with Donacio for further guidance. His insights provided clarity on key aspects of the brief, allowing me to refine my approach and ensure greater coherence in my work.

On Friday, working remotely provided an opportunity for focused and uninterrupted progress on the image props. Without external distractions, I was able to concentrate on fine-tuning details and maintaining consistency across the visuals. This marked a productive conclusion to the week, enabling me to finalise outstanding tasks and consolidate my progress.
