7th April – 11th April ♡

This week was a great blend of creative exploration and steady progress across multiple projects. I started off strong on Monday by completing the Jean Bart collage, a satisfying moment, but also one that came with the added reward of learning new Photoshop skills. It was very motivating to see immediate improvement in my work.
I also began 3D modelling an object for a separate project on Monday, which carried into Tuesday. By the end of that day, the model was complete. I also took time to refine the page size for the Jean Bart collage, making sure the composition was well-considered in both form and presentation. Later in the day, I switched gears to work on my dissertation draft, a very different headspace, but equally important in keeping up the rhythm of academic work.
On Wednesday, I began another collage: A Dunkirk 1920s beach piece. Diving into a new visual narrative always brings a mix of curiosity and challenge. Researching, interpreting, and creating something that resonates visually. Thursday was more of a deep-focus day as I continued developing the collage, slowly bringing it closer to completion.
By Friday, I wrapped up the Dunkirk collage and had a DPS tutorial, which provided a chance to reflect on my progress and get feedback. Ending the week with the collage completed felt like a win, a creative goal reached and another layer added to my growing body of work.
