Week 25

14th April – 18th April ♡

This week felt a little quieter, but no less productive, a slower pace that allowed me to really focus and take my time with each task.

On Monday, I began a benchmarking task. Research-heavy work like this can be quite grounding; it gave me a chance to slow down, observe details, and gather useful references for future design decisions. By Tuesday, I had wrapped up the benchmarking and moved on to developing an asset list for a different project. Shifting from research to organisation required a different kind of focus, but it was satisfying to begin mapping out what would become the visual backbone of the project.

Wednesday and Thursday were largely dedicated to refining and expanding that list. Making sure everything is accounted for, cross-referenced, and clearly structured. A short Photoshop task with Maya on Thursday offered a refreshing creative break, and we even had a little Easter egg hunt in the studio, which brought a fun and festive energy to the day. It was a lovely reminder of the team around me, even in a week of mostly individual tasks.

And then came Good Friday, a moment of pause and reflection. Ending the week on a quieter note felt fitting, after several days of deep focus, it was good to step back and take a breath.

Altogether, this week wasn’t fast paced, but it laid strong foundations. It reminded me that progress isn’t always loud, sometimes it’s in the quiet, diligent work that keeps everything moving forward.
