Week 29

12th May – 16th May ♡

This week was wholly dedicated to 3D modelling for the small museum projects that will be part of a larger visual scheme. I was given a range of files to work from, allowing me to select and model the most suitable object pieces for the museum layout. This process wasn’t just technical, it also involved a layer of research, as I took time to better understand the function and historical significance of the objects I was working with.

The rhythm of the week was shaped by modelling, receiving feedback, and refining my work accordingly. In many ways, this week marked a turning point: I began to realise just how at home I’ve become within the studio environment. The tools, pace, and collaborative flow of design work are no longer unfamiliar, I feel increasingly confident navigating them.

Friday brought a particularly rewarding moment: I received feedback on the dissertation draft I’d submitted earlier in the week. The response was overwhelmingly positive, which felt especially meaningful given the challenges of the past few weeks. My tutor’s encouragement was both reassuring and energising, reminding me that even when the road gets bumpy, growth is still happening.
